We know eating healthy with a busy schedule is one of the hardest things to do. It requires a solid amount of prep or finding something online. However, one thing we humans can own is that we ADAPT!
With busier than ever lifestyles we made our meals mobile, think about it. Now take that to your advantage. All you need is smaller meals at regular intervals, keeping you fuelled. Make sure you have something to eat every 2-3 hrs, that is healthy. This will keep your active between your meals, pre/post your workout and will make sure you don't go all 'Arnab' on your next meal. So, how do we do this?
KEEP IT REAL (&) SIMPLE
This is one of the simplest ways to get your nutrition. Stock your freezer with frozen fruits and veggies and make sure you have some nuts on hand. Add your favorite protein and your smoothie is ready. If you are new, we will help you how to make your first batch of tasty smoothies that will fill you up for a long time.
2. FRUITS/ SALADS
There is a misconception that salads are boring, bland and no fun. But just like smoothies, there is an art to building a salad. Or eat your favorite or Fresh fruit with nuts or banana with some raw honey and peanut butter, apple slices with almond butter or pineapple sprinkled with hemp seeds and cinnamon #FRESHANDFIRST
3. NUTRITION BARS
The trick to never feel famished and reach out for processed foods from the cafeteria is to have nutrition bars like The Lean Snack handy. The perfect combination of good carbs, protein, fiber, and essential nutrients. You can keep snacks in your desk drawer, carry them in your bag and just have them nearby when you need a boost.
NOTE: We will be sharing a few easy recipes for smoothies and salads soon.
